About Bayanga
Bayanga is a real town on the banks of the Sangha River, in the southwest of the Central African Republic, and the base for visiting the Dzanga-Sangha Special Reserve. It's one of Africa's most remote places for organized tourism — almost always reached by charter plane from Bangui — and the town lives off fishing, farming and, increasingly, ecotourism tied to the reserve.
