Wadi El Rayan is an Egyptian nature reserve located 65 km southwest of the city of Faiyum. It's known for being home to Egypt's only waterfalls, formed where one artificial lake flows into another. The reserve is also one of the few places in the world home to the rare slender-horned gazelle. It also boasts a wide variety of native wildlife drawn to the oasis vegetation.
