About Morondava
Morondava needs 2 days, almost entirely dedicated to the Avenue of the Baobabs, a stretch of dirt road lined with dozens of giant baobabs up to 800 years old. April-November is the dry season, since the rest of the year dirt roads become impassable. It's inexpensive by international standards, though limited access (scarce flights, difficult roads) adds logistical cost. Its Avenue of the Baobabs, with trees that look planted upside down, is one of Madagascar's most iconic images and a botanical phenomenon found nowhere else in the world at that concentration.
