Livingstone

Livingstone needs 2 days: the Zambian side of Victoria Falls, with Devil's Pool -a natural pool right at the edge of the precipice, accessible in the dry season- as its most famous viewpoint, is the main reason to visit. May-October is best, with the highest water flow between May and July. It's mid-to-high priced for the activities (rafting, bungee jumping, flights). It's named after Scottish explorer David Livingstone, the first European to document the falls in 1855, and locally they're known as «Mosi-oa-Tunya», «the smoke that thunders», for the roar and mist they generate.
