About Bursa
Bursa needs 2 days: the Grand Bazaar and the Green Mosque, an early example of classical Ottoman architecture, on one day, and the cable car up Mount Uludag, Turkey's most popular ski resort, on the other. April-June and September-October are best for the old town; December-March for snow. It's inexpensive for Turkey. It was the first capital of the Ottoman Empire (1326-1365) before the court moved to Edirne and later Constantinople, and it therefore holds the country's largest collection of early Ottoman architecture.
