Nha Trang needs 3 days: the 6-km urban beach and the 8th-century Po Nagar Cham towers on one, a boat excursion to nearby islands for diving or snorkeling on another, and the VinWonders complex on Hon Tre Island on the third. January-August brings the dry season. It's mid-priced, with island excursions as the main expense. It's Vietnam's diving and beach capital, with a bay ranked among the world's most beautiful, and its Russian expat community, drawn since the Soviet era by military cooperation agreements and today by tourism, left Cyrillic signage across much of the city.
