About Ceský Krumlov
Ceský Krumlov needs 2 days: Ceský Krumlov Castle -the second-largest in Czechia after Prague's, with its painted tower and the tiered bridge over the moat- on one, the complete old town, wrapped by a tight bend of the Vltava River, on the other. May-September is best for gentle rafting along the river running through the village. It's cheaper than Prague. Its medieval old town, virtually untouched because the town stagnated economically for centuries, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992 and is one of the best-preserved in Central Europe.
