Aarhus needs 2 days: the ARoS museum, with its circular «Your Rainbow Panorama» walkway on the roof, on one, and the open-air museum village Den Gamle By, with historic houses relocated from across Denmark, on the other. May-September brings the best weather. It's cheaper than Copenhagen. It's Denmark's youngest city by population share thanks to its university, one of Scandinavia's largest, giving it a cultural and dining scene disproportionate to its size, and its harbor, once industrial and now the Aarhus Ø district, is an internationally cited example of urban redevelopment.
