About Locronan
Locronan takes half a day to see: a cobblestone square ringed by 17th-century grey stone houses, without a single visible cable or sign, which made it a regular period-film location, is essentially the whole village. May-September is best. It's mid-priced by French standards. It's officially listed as one of the «most beautiful villages of France», and every July it holds the Grande Troménie, a 12-kilometer religious procession held every six years since the Middle Ages.
