The Panthéon is a beautiful neoclassical church in the Latin Quarter of Paris, easily reached on foot and by public transport. Originally dedicated to Saint Geneviève (the patron saint of Paris), it is now a secular mausoleum holding the remains of many great French figures. Among those buried here are Voltaire, Rousseau, Victor Hugo, Marie Curie and Émile Zola.
