Paris Zoological Park

Formerly known as the Bois de Vincennes Zoological Park, the 14.5-hectare Paris Zoological Park has recently undergone two years of renovation work, giving this famous zoo important natural environmental features and plenty of space for the animals to roam freely. The animal habitats have been grouped into five "biozones", and the zoo has six restaurants and a 4,000 sq m greenhouse full of tropical rainforest. It's visible from quite a distance, thanks to the Grand Rock, an artificial 65-metre-high mini mountain that has become an iconic symbol of the Paris Zoological Park.
