Hall of Mirrors
Versailles · Île-de-France · France
The Hall of Mirrors is the most famous room of the Palace of Versailles: a 73-metre gallery lined with 357 mirrors facing the garden windows, built to reflect the light of the Sun King's court in all its splendour. It was here, in 1919, that the Treaty of Versailles was signed, ending the First World War.
