About Regensburg
Regensburg takes 1 day to see: the Stone Bridge over the Danube, built in the 12th century and considered an engineering feat for its time, in a morning walk, and the medieval old town, one of Germany's best preserved, in the afternoon. April-October is best. It's mid-priced by German standards. It was founded by the Romans as Castra Regina, and its historic center, which survived World War II almost intact, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2006.
