Halle needs 1 day: Händel House, where composer George Frideric Handel was born and raised before moving to England, in a morning walk, and the market square with the Church of Our Lady and its four towers, in the afternoon. April-October is best. It's very inexpensive by German standards. It's the birthplace of Handel, one of the most influential Baroque composers in history, and every June it hosts the Handel Festival, one of Germany's most important Baroque music festivals.
