Ornos (Mykonos)

Ornos can be seen in a day: its sheltered bay with calm waters makes it Mikonos' family-friendly option, unlike Chora's party atmosphere. June-September is the ideal season. It's somewhat cheaper than Chora, though still expensive by general Greek standards. Its beach, one of the few on the island sheltered from the Aegean's typical strong wind (the meltemi), makes it the top choice for families with young children.
