June-September brings ideal beach weather. It's mid-priced for Puglia. It's the most populous town on the Gargano promontory, the 'spur' of the Italian boot jutting into the Adriatic Sea, and its coastline of white cliffs and hidden coves is considered one of the least crowded stretches of southern Italy's coast.
