Victoria (Gozo)

Victoria (Gozo) needs 2 days: the Citadel, a hilltop fortress with views over the whole island of Gozo, on one day, and the rocky Dwejra coast -where the Azure Window, a stone arch collapsed by the sea in 2017, once stood- on the other. April-October is best. It's mid-to-low priced by European standards. It's the capital of Gozo, Malta's sister island, with a much more rural and quiet pace than La Valeta, just a 25-minute ferry ride away.
