The Modern Contemporary (Moco) Museum in Amsterdam is housed in Villa Alsberg, a townhouse from 1904 right on Amsterdam's Museumplein. High-profile exhibitions and guest curators highlight some of the top contributors to the modern art world. Eduard Cuypers, cousin of Rijksmuseum designer Pierre Cuypers, designed the townhouse, making it a sight worth seeing in its own right. But the works inside are absolutely phenomenal; two of the current attractions showcase the work of street art activist Banksy and extraordinary pop artist Andy Warhol.
