An iron bridge over the Douro, designed by Théophile Seyrig (a disciple of Gustave Eiffel) and opened in 1886. Its upper deck, now used by the metro and pedestrians, offers one of the best views of the Ribeira and the Vila Nova de Gaia wine cellars.
