A Renaissance castle wedged into the mouth of a cave, perched 123 metres up a vertical cliff. Built more than 800 years ago, it is listed by Guinness World Records as the largest cave castle on earth. Beneath its halls runs a network of natural tunnels through which, legend says, the knight Erazem of Predjama outlasted a long siege.
