About Ronda
Ronda can be seen in a day, though many stay overnight to see the New Bridge lit up over the El Tajo gorge, a 100-meter chasm that splits the town in two. April-June brings mild temperatures ahead of the dry heat of Andalusia's interior in summer. Prices are reasonable, a bit higher at restaurants with gorge views given the prime location. It's the birthplace of modern equestrian bullfighting (its Real Maestranza bullring is among Spain's oldest), and its scenery, with the town literally perched over a void, is among the most photographed in Andalusia.
