About Seville
Seville can be explored on foot or by bike in 3 days: the Cathedral and Giralda tower, the Real Alcázar and the Santa Cruz quarter are all within walking distance of each other. March-May is best, with Semana Santa and the Feria de Abril as highlights, before summer pushes temperatures past 40°C. Prices are mid-range for Andalusia, a bit higher than Córdoba or Cádiz given its tourist weight. It's the birthplace of flamenco and of tapas as a way of eating, and its Plaza de España, built for the 1929 Expo, is one of Spain's most photographed spots.
