Santander

Santander can be seen in 2 days: the Bay and the Magdalena Palace on one, El Sardinero beach on the other. June-September brings the best Cantabrian weather, though rain is frequent the rest of the year. Prices are moderate, somewhat higher in summer with domestic tourism from northern Spain. Its Bay, considered one of the world's most beautiful, and the Centro Botín, designed by Renzo Piano on stilts over the sea, have positioned it as a rising cultural destination.
