About Logroño
Logroño can be seen in a day: Calle Laurel, with over 50 pincho bars packed into a few blocks, is the main reason to visit. September-October coincides with the grape harvest in La Rioja, Spain's most renowned wine region. Prices are low, among the most affordable provincial capitals. Its Calle Laurel works as a continuous tapas crawl: each bar has its own specialty (one does only mushrooms, another only blood sausage), a local tradition that sets it apart from any other pincho street in Spain.
