About Bibury
Bibury takes half a day to see: Arlington Row, a row of 17th-century stone cottages originally built for wool weavers, is essentially the whole village. April-October is best. It's mid-to-high priced for such a tiny village. Writer and designer William Morris described it as «the most beautiful village in England» in the late 19th century, and Arlington Row is one of the most photographed streets in the country, even reproduced on a British passport.
