About Warwick
Warwick needs half a day: Warwick Castle, one of Great Britain's best-preserved, with live jousting tournaments and trebuchet demonstrations, is practically the sole reason to visit, but justifies the trip on its own. April-October is best. It's mid-to-high priced due to the castle entrance fee. It was founded in 914 and belonged to the medieval «Kingmakers», nobles capable of deciding who sat on the English throne, and today it's owned by the Merlin Entertainments group, which keeps it running as a living historical attraction.
