Nassau needs 3 days: the colonial historic center on one, and nearby beaches and neighboring cay excursions for the rest. December-April is the dry season with lower hurricane risk. It's expensive, among the priciest destinations in the Caribbean. It's the capital of the Bahamas and one of the world's busiest cruise ports, with waters of such intense turquoise that they became a visual shorthand for the Caribbean in global tourism advertising.
