About Bridgetown
Bridgetown needs 3 days: the historic center (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) on one, and the west coast beaches for the rest. December-April is the dry season. It's expensive by Caribbean standards, reflecting its status as one of the region's most established destinations. It's the capital of Barbados and one of the few Caribbean sites declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historic value as a British military and trading port, with a Georgian architectural legacy uncommon in the region.
