About Syracuse
Syracuse needs 1 day: visiting the Everson Museum of Art, designed by architect I.M. Pei and home to one of the largest ceramics collections in the US, and touring the Syracuse University campus the same afternoon. May-September is best, avoiding heavy winter snow. It's inexpensive for the US Northeast. It's the usual gateway to the Finger Lakes, the wine region with over 100 wineries west of the city, and its university is nationally known for its journalism and communications school.
