About Nashville
Nashville needs 2 days: the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on one, a live show at the Grand Ole Opry -the longest-running live radio show in the US, broadcasting since 1925- on the other. April-June and September-October avoid the humid heat of the Southern summer. It's cheaper than New York or Los Angeles. It's the world capital of country music and one of the birthplaces of the American music industry, with more recording studios per capita than any other US city and a live-music scene that fills Broadway (its main street) with honky-tonks every night of the year.
