About Coronel Suárez
A railway city in south-western Buenos Aires province, known for two things: its three villages of Volga German descendants —Santa Trinidad, San José and Santa María—, with huge churches and a cuisine of kreppel and strudel, and its polo tradition, home to historic teams. The centre is a wide, un-touristy grid; the villages, a few kilometres out, are the reason to come.
