Tornquist

The district capital and gateway to the sierras, on the road linking Bahía Blanca with the mountain area. Its lakeside promenade and neo-Gothic church anchor the centre; a few kilometres away is the entrance to Ernesto Tornquist Provincial Park, where almost every trek in the area begins. It works more as a services stop than a destination in itself, but it covers a night well.
