Villa Traful

Villa Traful is a full-day visit: Lake Traful, with an intense turquoise unusual even for Patagonia, is explored by kayak or from viewpoints along the Seven Lakes Route. December-March is best. It's cheaper than Villa La Angostura or Bariloche, with very limited lodging. It's one of the least populated and quietest towns in the lake district, without the mass tourism infrastructure of its neighbors, making it a refuge for those seeking nature without crowds.
