About Molinos
Molinos takes 1 day to see: the 18th-century Church of San Pedro Nolasco and the former Casa de los Isasmendi, residence of Salta's last royalist governor, on the same walk through a village with dirt streets. April-October is best. It's cheap, with very limited lodging. It sits in the heart of the Calchaquí Valleys, surrounded by high-altitude vineyards producing Torrontés and Malbec above 2,000 meters, among the highest in the world.
