About Copacabana
Copacabana needs 2 days: the town and its basilica on one, and a boat trip to Isla del Sol (the mythical birthplace of the Inca Empire) on the other. May-October is the dry season with less cold. It's inexpensive, with lodging and food at very low prices compared to La Paz. It's Bolivia's main town on Lake Titicaca, the world's highest navigable lake, and its Isla del Sol is, according to Inca mythology, the birthplace of the first Inca and of the sun itself.
