Muyil, also known as Chunyaxche, is an ancient site steeped in history, located 15 kilometers south of Tulum, in Quintana Roo, Mexico. It was most active from the Early Classic period (300–600 AD) through the Postclassic period (900–1100 AD), and it continues to attract history buffs vacationing in the surrounding coastal towns and cities.
